Hello Autumn, the new gastronomic concept will excite even the most jaded tastebuds over the next two weeks.
Over the past 8 years, the Culinaria festival has become a giant of the Belgian food scene. This year a desire for change and renewal has given rise to a new name, a new look and a new perspective on the food scene. Autumn is the new encounter between Belgian and international gastronomy. 60 Belgian chefs, surrounded by a whole host of different food professionals and the best barmen in Belgium and in Europe will come together in one place for the occasion. The whole experience will be divided into three “universes” to satisfy every possible craving. It’s goodbye to Tour & Taxis and hello to a brand new space, a new creative playground offering 8000M2 of possibilities. The three universes will allow visiting gourmets to enjoy different experiences. The Mercato Leffe and its chefs’ market offers a quick delicious treat: each day 10 chefs will be cooking up either their signature dish or one specially concocted for the event, whilst representatives of 6 food-based professions (butchers, bakers, grocers) will also be on site to present the very best of fine produce. The Gastronomique St Pellegrino will offer a very pleasurable interlude, with a sit-down restaurant at its heart, led by 4 famous Belgian and international chefs, creating a memorable 8-handed culinary experience every evening. The Club Perrier, where a European bartender will be cooking up great things to drink accompanied by great music, will be open until 2am. We certainly won’t be going hungry.
